Description:

Bloom & Art is seeking a creative and experienced Retail Florist / Floral Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about floral design, has a keen eye for detail, and loves working with customers to bring their visions to life. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of beautiful arrangements, managing our store’s floral inventory, and providing a welcoming and personalized experience for every person who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create stunning bouquets, arrangements, and floral products for daily orders, events, and custom requests.
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, offering design advice and assistance with their floral selections.
  • Manage and maintain the freshness and quality of all flowers and plants in the shop.
  • Assist with store operations, including cleaning, organizing, and restocking supplies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and orders in person, over the phone, and via email.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a florist or floral designer.
  • Strong knowledge of various flowers, plants, and floral design techniques.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A portfolio or examples of previous work are a plus.
